We’re proud to offer two unique locations: a stylish compact studio in central Nelson, New Zealand, and a character-filled village house in the South of France. Places where you can sink into the rhythm of the neighbourhood, live like a local, and enjoy comfort with a sense of ease.
Maison & Village Studio – Nile Street, Nelson, New Zealand (Sleeps 2)
A compact, well appointed studio with total privacy including - private access from street with your own deck, kitchenette, living and dining area, double bedroom and bathroom. The perfect convenient and affordable base from which to explore Nelson.
Located 5 minutes walk from central Nelson and surrounded by culture, cafes, rivers, the Maitai Valley, Botanical Gardens, and all in an historic precinct.

Maison & Village – Quarante, South of France (Sleeps up to 5)
Our French stay is a charming multi-level village house in the heart of Quarante, a friendly wine village surrounded by vineyards, Roman history, and endless markets. Expect stone walls, sunny rooms, local produce at your doorstep, and the luxury of living like a local. Wander to the bakery in the morning, explore vineyard trails in the afternoon, or settle into the courtyard with a glass of something fabulous from the region. Béziers, Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, and the Mediterranean are all an easy drive away — making this an ideal base for slow, sensory travel through the Occitanie region.
French features you'll love:

What amenities are included?
Your studio comes fully equipped with:
- Private appt, deck and access
- Wi-Fi & a 20 inch screen and HDMI to watch videos (bring your own laptop)
- Rapid phone charger
- Secure storage for 1-2 bikes,
- Kitchen with modern appliances Air Fryer, Microwave etc
- Comfortable living area / sofa
- Private outdoor space, and outdoor seating and lighting.

Is parking available at the property?
Yes, parking is available on the street. Let us know if you require street parking
at the time of making your booking and we will save you a space.
During the day parking can be busy therefore we cannnot guarantee
you can always find a park. Afternoons and evenings always have ample spaces.

What is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 noon.
If you need flexible arrival times, feel free to contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best
to accommodate your needs.

Is the property family-friendly?
Sorry - We can either accomodate single travelers or one couple.
There is one double bed, one kitchenette and a bathroom, private deck and separate street access.

How far are the properties from the nearest beach?
Maison and Village Nile is a 10-minute walk to the Maitai River, and a 20 minute drive to Tahunanui Beach.
There is also Riverside public Pool in Nelson and the 50m Nayland Pool in Stoke.
All great options to get wet.
