Maison & Village offers two smart, character-filled places to stay — designed for travelers who love village life - markets, food, wine, wandering, and living like a local (without the fuss).

Our Nelson NZ and French stays are warm, well-designed, and full of the small touches that make travel feel effortless and fun.

The Village House | Quarante, South of France   |  Sleeps up to 6  -  Filling up fast for summer/ Autumn 2026. 

Our French stay is a charming multi-level village house in the heart of Quarante, a friendly wine village surrounded by vineyards,

  • A real village house: Charming, situated on a quiet pedestrian lane, (parking 3 mins walk) well appointed, all cooking amenities, bedding, linen and towels. 
  • Outdoor Courtyard: Your own private nook for coffee, apéro, or evening lounging.
  • Easy Convenience: Equipped kitchen, dining area, and everything you need to settle in.
  • Stay Connected: Reliablle WiFi and top floor study for working stays.
  • Excellent proximity: 5 mins drive to the Canal du Midi and Capestang,  Vineywards, 25 mins drive to Béziers and Narbonne.

  • What amenities are included?

    Your studio comes fully equipped with:

    • Private appt, deck and access
    • Wi-Fi & a 20 inch screen and HDMI to watch videos (bring your own laptop)
    • Rapid phone charger
    • Secure storage for 1-2 bikes,
    • Kitchen with modern appliances Air Fryer, Microwave etc
    • Comfortable living area / sofa
    • Private outdoor space, and outdoor seating and lighting.

  • Is parking available at the property?

    Yes, parking is available on the street. Let us know if you require street parking 


    at the time of making your booking and we will save you a space.  


    During the day parking can be busy therefore we cannnot guarantee 


    you can always find a park. Afternoons and evenings always have ample spaces. 

  • What is the check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 noon. 


    If you need flexible arrival times, feel free to contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best

    to accommodate your needs.

  • Is the property family-friendly?

    Sorry - We can either accomodate single travelers or one couple. 


    There is one double bed, one kitchenette and a bathroom, private deck and separate street access. 

  • How far are the properties from the nearest beach?

    Maison and Village Nile is a 10-minute walk to the Maitai River, and a 20 minute drive to Tahunanui Beach. 

    There is also Riverside public Pool in Nelson and the 50m Nayland Pool in Stoke. 

    All great options to get wet.
